Audio Recording Issues

Hello,

I am running into this very weird issue concerning audio recordings. When I record audio and add it to a slide, then attempt to preview the slide with audio, it sounds atrocious. The first 3-5 seconds are a horrible scratchy sound before the audio clears up. Then sometimes there are blank stretches where the audio cuts out. However, when I preview the audio from the Timeline box, it sounds just fine. I am not sure what the difference is. I have checked my equipment, used different mics, and nothing has changed. Any ideas on why the preview sounds so bad?

    Thank you for your response. I did follow the steps to repair my Storyline 360 installation, but it didn't seem to work. I will open a case to investigate further.
