Auto advancing after video
I'd like play a video on a slide and then have it auto advance when the slide is complete. The only problem is that it auto advances the exact second that the video is done. Is there a way to add a delay to the auto advance??

Russ- I had completely overlooked the video editor!
So glad I started this thread today. Work smart, not hard.

I'm having a similar problem but in articulate engage. I created several videos and inserted them into a macro-enabled power point presentation with several quizmaker quizzes. I published them with articulate (compatible with the LMS - SCORM 1.2). I have adjusted the settings to auto advance when the video ends. However, after being published the video just stops on the last image of the video and does not auto advance onto the quiz. I've tried everything and no matter what I do this always happens.
Hi there Laura! Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you're trying to insert an Engage MP4 file into a Presenter file, is that correct?
You mentioned you published the file for LMS (SCORM 1.2). Did you upload the published zip file to your LMS before you tested it?
For comparisons sake, try also testing it in SCORM Cloud. That'll help you narrow down whether this issue is related to your LMS or to your file. I can help you with that testing if you share your Articulate Package with me!

Hi Alyssa,
Yes I have inserted an MP4 file into a PowerPoint with quizzes (from articulate) and then I publish the presentation in LMS AICC compatible format. (I may have initially misspoke and said SCORM).
After I publish the presentation I test it and it does not auto advance.
I also spent the better half of a day with someone from articulate and they tested it in SCORM cloud. The end of that was inconclusive because I still have the issue although the articulate help-person sent me a zip of my presentation which she claimed worked. I tested that presentation again and it did not work.
This is starting to get really frustrating because my company needs to deliver this presentation to a client and I cannot do so until this error is fixed.
Best Regards,
Laura
Hi Laura,
Thanks for letting me know you already worked with someone from the team, and I'm really sorry we didn't find a solution. It looks like you've been dealing with this for a while now, and I understand you're working on a tight deadline. I've personally reached out to our Support Team managers and asked them to take another look at your case. I want to get this straightened out as soon as possible.
From here, we'll escalate your case and continue to work with you one-on-one until this is resolved. I'm also keeping an eye on the progress. 😊

Great thank you so much! Hopefully it's a quick easy fix!
Hey, Laura. I popped in to your case this morning, and I can see you and Lea are still working together to troubleshoot this problem. I'll keep checking in as the case progresses!
Also, I wanted to mention that responding via email includes your email signature here. No worries on our end—just wanted to let you know in case you didn’t want to share it publicly.

I realize this is an old discussion, but I am having a similar issue. If I check the box for Show Videos Controls so that the user can see the time options for the video, it will not auto-advance. If I uncheck the box, the slide will auto-advance. Is this expected behavior or is this a bug?

Thanks for reaching out, Glenda!
I'm sorry to hear you're facing a similar issue where the video slide will not auto-advance if the Show video controls option is selected. I wasn't able to recreate this on my end: Here's my test.
From here, I'd recommend sharing your file with one of our support engineers so they can investigate. Feel free to use this private upload link, and someone will reach out to you with a next step!
