Base layer object not hiding

Hi All,

I have no idea or explanation for the follow behavior. Note, I have tested with both Storyline 360 32 and 64 bit.

As you will see in the attached Storyline file, I have a base layer that has several text boxes and icons. I don't understand why the text line that has a hover state and links to a layer persists to the layer. 

You will note that the layer has the same line of text but in a different color and bold. Oddly, the base layer text is still visible, but all other elements/object are hidden?

Each layer is set to hide objects on the base layer.

Any ideas? Thanks

    I don't know, looks like a bug.

    However why not use the hover state and get rid of your hover trigger

    Hello Erik,

    If you Change your "BOLD" state to the built-in "HOVER" state and then remove or disable the trigger to change the state to bold, this should work as expected.  

    Hover states do not need triggers.

    I completely forgot about the built in state for hover. :-)
