Best practice for "copying" slides into a 2nd Storyline
Hi everyone!
Currently, I have a gigantic Storyline that I created as an emulator. This means that there are over 300 slides with 20-30 hotspots on each slide. I need to find about 10-15 slides that are connected via triggers/hotspots and isolate them in their own Storyline.
What might be the best way to do this? I want to keep the giant "Master" Storyline of the emulator AND also have it broken down into separate Storylines by tasks that the learner is being asked to do within a Rise course (where I import the Storyline block by question/task).
I hope this makes some sense.
I cannot add attachments because it is trade secret.
Thank you in advance.

file/import or publish out individual scenes.

When I tease out the slides I need from scene one to scene two, the slides in scene two have triggers connected to slides in scene one. Therefore, when I publish scene two only, I would gather that all those trigger connections to scene one would be disconnected and no longer work?
Hi Dana,
Yes that is correct. Since those triggers point to a part of your project that wasn't included during publishing, those triggers will not work when your course is accessed. You can use Storyline 360's Story View to get a helpful overview of which slides are connected with each other (represented by the lines)
