Big problem with folder usage and organization.

Hello elearning2,
Thanks for clarifying your use case. I can see how not being able to see the folder location in search results would make managing a large number of courses more challenging.
I’ve shared your feedback with our product team so they can take a closer look at improving search visibility and folder context within the dashboard.
You have an interesting situation. If you have been reading this channel for some time now, you will see .storyline files should be stored on your hard drive (C) and not in the cloud or other drives. Storing these files can lead to corrupt files and loss of information and make the files unusable. I know we will keep the original on each person's computer and a copy in the cloud on OneDrive. It might be better to keep a running spreadsheet as how has what files and where they are located and not keep them in the cloud.
Good luck

Hi Eric, thanks for the advice! I think there might be a slight misunderstanding, though.
My post isn't about local .storyline file management, hard drives, or file corruption. I am referring strictly to the UI/UX of the web dashboard for managing courses (like in Rise 360).
When we organize our courses into folders on the web platform, the structure is fine. But when we use the built-in search bar to quickly find a course, the search results only show the course name and completely omit the folder it belongs to. This makes managing a large number of company courses very frustrating.
The feature request is simply for the dashboard's search results to display the folder path/directory, so we know exactly where a course is located within the platform itself. Hope that clarifies it!

Hi Eric,
Thank you so much for understanding the issue and forwarding it to the product team! Adding the folder path or directory to the search results would be a massive quality-of-life improvement for teams managing a large library of courses.
I really appreciate your help and quick response. Looking forward to seeing this update in the future!
