Blurry Videos when Storyline is Published
I know there are several posts about this, but they are all older, so I am hoping a new solution has been found. I have 6 videos in an interactive Storyline project that when published in SCORM become very blurry.
Details:
They are not stretched in Storyline
I have tried replacing the videos in the exported file with the non-compressed files and it doesn't work
I tried converting my mp4 files to a high profile file (H.264) but Storyline will not allow me to put that file type in the presentation.
Are there any other suggestions?

if you disable "Video Compression", the video qualitiy will be much better*
the orginal video you imported are 1920x972 px - storyline scales all videos on publish to your slide size (720x405)
with Compression "Automatic"

https://360.articulate.com/review/content/229beeef-e981-4307-bbbd-6d0638962d43/review* you need no recompression - the data rate (file size) of your videos is ok for web

My compression button is disabled so I can’t change it. Any suggestions?
Hi Northwest,
I'm sorry to hear you're hitting this snag! I appreciate the extensive troubleshooting you have done so far, and it looks like you've already looked at the article below for some of the items.
Have you also tried testing your course in a different LMS to confirm if the behavior you're experiencing is specific to your LMS? SCORM Cloud is a great environment that you can use for this purpose. Here's how to test your course in that platform:
If you can replicate the blurry videos in SCORM Cloud, it would be helpful to see the Storyline file with the videos to understand why they become blurry in the published output. Do you mind attaching your project to this discussion or privately in a support case? We'll delete it when we're done testing.
Thanks for your patience!

Eric - I followed these steps and the issue repeated in SCORM Cloud. I submitted the file to your team last week.
Thanks!
Hi Northwest,
I appreciate your patience in testing this out; great idea opening a case! I see that Darrell has picked it up, and he's asking for the Storyline project file (*.story). If Darrell's email is not in your inbox, kindly check your Spam folder.
I'm happy to help further if you're having issues finding the email!

Eric - I do not have any emails in my junk, trash or inbox. Thank You
Hi Northwest!
Sorry to hear you are having trouble locating the latest e-mail from our support engineers! I'd be happy to assist!
I've reached out to my colleague who is handling your case and made them aware of the discrepancy. They should be getting in touch shortly!
Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Hi, Northwest! If you find a solution via email support that works, would you please share it back here for the rest of us? I'd love to know how to keep that from happening.
Cheers!
Hi Pauline!
Thanks for reaching out!
If you are also experiencing blurry videos when publishing a Storyline 360 course, I'd like to echo the troubleshooting steps Eric shared earlier in the thread. Have you tested your course in SCORM Cloud to see if the behavior is the same?
If you are able to replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it would be helpful to take a closer look at the project file itself. Would you be willing to share it here in the discussion or privately through a support case? We'll delete it from our system once troubleshooting is complete!

I'm having the same issue. The videos in my course look fine when I'm previewing it in the storyline application but the published version either for review360 and the SCORM file when uploaded are blurry. I've used the SCORM cloud and the issue still exists. I've attached the storyline file.

(1) check your mp4 file with MediaInfo
what is the result with your videos - post screenshots
(2) check your video with the windows explorer: mouse right click -> properties >> Tab Details
what is the result with your videos - post screenshots

the Encoder Profile/Level "Constrained Baseline @ 4.1" is maybe the problem
try "main @ 4.1" - you can use Handbrake to recompress for a test
@articulate: your automatic convertion from text with embeded "@" to a clickable email address here in the forum is not helpful
