Browser Screen Flashes Between Slides
Hi all,
When playing a published Storyline 360 project (v3.3.9986.0) in a Chrome web browser, I experience a single brief white-screen flash when I move/navigate between the slides/screens.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks in advance,
Simon

Thanks Derek for submitting your case. This issue is a bit different than the original issue discussed here, but as Crystal mentioned earlier it's in the hands of our team and the more examples of this the better! So I appreciate you sharing and we'll follow along in your case with Angelo!

I am getting blinks in between slides with Screen Recordings. It is a fraction of a second but very noticeable. Latest Storyline Chrome browser.
Hi Curtis,
Sorry to hear you've been affected by this as well.
You're in the right place to get updates as we do have this thread attached to the report so that we can update you here when we can.
If you have a .story file to share demonstrating the issue, that would be very helpful as not many files have been shared and it certainly makes testing helpful as our team works to understand and correct issues.
Thanks so much!

Here you go. We are making a ton of these and it is really the only complaint at this point. It is minor but I would love to be able to fix it.
Thank you Curtis! I've shared this file in the report.

Thanks for the quick responses to inquiries. We have been evaluating e-Learning software here at Sephora and along with how great Storyline is to work with the support here is also really great.
That's great to hear Curtis - I'm going to share your sentiments with the team 😀

Any chance this issue is going to be fixed? My only option is to publish in flash and as you all know this won't work forever...
Hi S,
Thanks for checking in on this! Our team is finishing up fixes right now for the next update of Storyline 360 (release date soon - but not set in stone yet!) and we'll be fixing the issue where the slides are flashing when jumping to the next slide in the HTML5 output.
We'll post here as soon as that update is available.

Thanks for the update!
Hey folks! I'm happy to let you know that we just released Update 12 for Storyline 360, and you can check out the new features and fixes here!
Specifically included in this version is a fix to address the issue where the HTML5 output would sometimes flicker when navigating between slides. Simply update Storyline to the latest version and republish your project to see the fix. Here's how updating Storyline 360 works.
I'm happy to hear how you make out!

Hi Team,
Brilliant, thanks for fixing!
This is occurring in Studio 360 also. Will there be a fix for this as well?
Cheers

Hi,
Thank you for the update. However despite updating to the 23rd Jan release and republishing, we are still seeing the delay/flashing issue when moving from one slide to another. The issue we are seeing relates to items in the Slide Master.
I have shared this with Support, but have not heard back.

I was so hopeful.. however it is not fixed for me either. My issue seems to be when using custom buttons to move between slides as oppose to the built in next/previous buttons. It works ok in Chrome, but not IE 11.
