Button Triggers

Morning all -

I have an interactive step-by-step walk through with seven steps. There is a button and corresponding number for each step.

In each instance there is a trigger for normal, hover and visited states. Once a button has been clicked, I'd like it to stay in the visited state. It doesn't.

I know there is a "return previous state when the user hovers out" but I can't figure which if any of them to turn off. I have attached a very brief screen capture as an example.

  • Hi, Tony, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ✨

    Thank you for reaching out!

When you say "In each instance there is a trigger for normal, hover and visited states", does it mean you created triggers for each of those states?

Built-in states already have all the logic in the background, so you don't need to create triggers for them. Try deleting those triggers to see if the project works as expected.

If you need additional help, feel free to share the .story file here so we can take a look at your scenario.

Well of course! Use the tools the way they were intended and voila! Who'd  thunk. Many thanks.
