Can I slow down the audio voice selected in Storyline 360?
I am using one of the audio voice pre-loaded in Storyline 360 and it seems they are all speaking very fast. Is there a way to slow their speech?

I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 83, we've included important fixes and new features!
One of the new features we've included:
- Unlock new possibilities for text-to-speech audio. Use speech synthesis markup language (SSML) to adjust the speaking rate, modify pronunciation, emphasize words, add pauses, and more.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Do we have any additional feature embedded to reduce the speed of the text to speech?
Hey Alyssa Gomez. Any news on this. Its been 4 years that everyone is requesting.
Camtasia has already incorporated the feature of slowing down audio, has Storyline been able to do this yetHi! Was this ever integrated into the SL360 updates? I want to use text-to-speech but common feedback from learners is that the voice is too fast.
I have used punctuation to slow down the speech between sentences and added silence spaces between points. Unfortunately, when a conversation is mid-point the speech is too fast.Not to mention extremely time-consuming to try o optimize with this type of workaround. It has been a year since I first posted on this topic, and still no solution is in sight. Clearly there is a customer voice here to be taken into account.
Over a year for me as well. It’s brought up every meeting that we have, by customers, to review material that uses storyline txt-to-speech.

We are getting ready to make a decision on investing in the WellSaid AI text to voice product and would like to know what might be changing in the near future in Storyline in regards to text to voice changes. Can you provide an update??

Here hoping for an update too! I just discovered the text to speech when I upgraded and LOVE it - the voices are pretty darn good. But I'm getting so much feedback that it's too fast.
Hello, I see this thread is from 3 years ago; however, I too am interested in slowing down the speaking rate of a selected audio voice in SL 360.

Any updates on this? I am new to storyline and it appears there is still no way to slow down the text-to-speech.
Four years later -- has this been implemented, considered? I keep coming up to this forum, and seeing so many intelligent, practical and legitimate requests by professional subscribers and users of the software, requests that would increase our efficiency, workflow: be told it'll be 'put on the list' - four years later, nothing. And yet, the annual price goes up, and accessibility seems to be the only updates that we hear about. I'm a little fed up.
