While this one isn't currently on our immediate roadmap, we appreciate the feedback for a CC button and its importance. We promise to update you on any new developments!
Katie - the ability to move the actual closed caption text box on the slide would also be helpful!

We are stuck using the Classic player because of the accessibility issues outlined in this discussion:
I know there is going to be an update of the player soon that will include better accessibility. Do you know if it will address those issues, and when the update is scheduled to happen?
