Changing character doesn't keep pose and expression

Hi,

I have a branching scenario which uses a photo character from Content Library 360.  This character appears with several poses and expressions across over 100 layers.  The client has now asked for the character to be changed.  According to the documentation, you can change the character and it will keep the pose, expression timing etc.  The problem is, it doesn't work!  When you change the character, it just uses the default pose and expression, which is nothing like the pose and expression used.

Is this a known problem?

Any help would be really appreciated!

    Thanks for contacting us to share what you are running into with your project.

    I assume that you're using a photographic character? I'm experiencing the same behavior in a test file and I'm reporting this for our team to investigate. I am not seeing any reports of this behavior, so I do not have any workarounds to share at this time, but I will link this conversation to the report.

    Unfortunate this doesn't seem to be resolved yet.. I just told a supervisor yesterday it would not be a problem to change out characters (because I saw the aforementioned claim in the documentation as well).

    Is there any progress?

    We don't have any updates to share for this bug fix yet, but I'll be sure to come back when we have news, as this discussion is linked to the report. Sorry that this is slowing you down!
