Changing the background color in Rise
Good news, everyone! You can now customize your blocks with distinctive color and image backgrounds using enhanced block settings! Check out the new feature, and let us know what you think!
Hi Martin! Thanks for checking in. Rise 360 has a white background by default, but you can change the background of individual blocks. I'll let our team know you need a global background color setting!

Hi Alyssa,
I really feel this should be done overall, The cover of the course (with the detail on what is in it) looks so boring on white and with no imagery available. Please can the team look into this?
Thank you :-)

Agreed. When setting up the Course Theme, and extra feature should be added where a designer can change the overall page background colour globally. I mean you can always create new block templates, but that is onerous.

You can't change the color of process content blocks or it's missing. (see screenshot)

Hi Jacob - you're right. Process blocks have a different type of container to handle the animation of each step, so the background for that block is actually completely covered by the interaction itself. Sorry for the confusion there!
I've tagged this discussion for a follow up if we make any changes to how the process block background looks.
