Changing the background color in Rise
Hello, our customer would like us to change the color of the background from white to a different color. How can we do that in Rise? Thank you.
Good news, everyone! You can now customize your blocks with distinctive color and image backgrounds using enhanced block settings! Check out the new feature, and let us know what you think!

It appears that Articulate users have been requesting this feature for more than two years. When will Rise offer a global setting under the "Colors & Themes" to allow us to set a background color for the entire course (including processes)?
It's extremely time-consuming to change every single block in each section of the course. My marketing & sales teams demand something other than boring white. This requires that I spend at least 30 minutes copying and pasting a hex code into the settings for each individual block. Of course, some blocks can be copied and the content modified during course creation, but if I'm mixing headers with processes and text and multimedia and interactions, there's only so much of this block-copying that can be done to save time.
Please add this to a feature request, or +1 vote for the existing feature request.
Thank you.

I'd like to add a background texture to a plain text box, is that possible? I have the quote block (can't get rid of the "), or a text on picture block (can't get rid of the short line that appears above the text); is there a way to have clean text with a textured background image? Thanks!
Hi Sarah! Have you considered creating your own image overlayed with text? You should be able to achieve that using PowerPoint!
- Start with a blank widescreen PowerPoint slide. 16:9 or 3:1 slide dimensions would work best.
- Insert an image and text on the PowerPoint slide.
- Save the slide as an image file (.png).
- Import the image into an Image Full Width block in Rise 360.
Let me know how that goes!

Would love to be able to change the color of all blocks at the same time. Please make this a feature!

I have a similar issue. I can't change colour for process block which means I have to use another block which allows me to that.

I agree with this request.
I often find myself having to manually change the background of each and every block to match the branding requirements in my assignments. And if the background is dark, I also end up having to change the font color in each block as well.
That's a lot of extra work. I think it would spare users a lot of time if we could have select "Default background color" and "Default text color".
And the default background color would preferably affect the top & bottom bar of each chapter, because right now it looks kind of janky when we try to brand something in Rise, and it just cuts off to the default white.
I read in the automated email sent with feature requests that "we estimate the value it could bring to our products.". Wouldn't you agree that being able to say something in the lines of "Match your company branding requirements 100%" is great value added to the USP list for such a minor feature?Hi Johannes! Thanks for chiming in and sharing your thoughts here. We don't have any updates on this request yet, but we're still tracking requests for the ability to change the background color in Rise courses.
I'll share your feedback with our team! I'll update you all here if we make any changes that help!
