Character state not changing in Rise Scenario block

I am working on a course and using a scenario block. For several of the feedback responses, I have set the character to change her state (talking, thinking, confused) etc. When I preview the block or the course the state of the character does not change.

What could I be doing wrong?

  • Hello everyone, 🎉

I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update fixes the issue you encountered:

    • For scenario blocks, characters would sometimes maintain their default pose when the training was previewed or published.

There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.

Let me know if you have any questions about this update or the issue you reported!

  • I'm having this issue as well. I didn't build this, I'm doing edits for a colleague who has just gone on maternity leave. The face is neutral, I've tried adding in the expresssions again. I don't have time to recreate two scenarios. JenniferOrmond- Did you find an answer to this?

      Hi LucyBlake-cec40,

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue!

I don't see a support case for Jennifer, but I'm happy to help troubleshoot further. If you've confirmed that you're using one of our supported browsers, would you be willing to share a copy of your course with our team? You can do so in a support case and we can take a closer look at what's going on! We'll delete any content from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.

Go to support, it seems to be a bug in the system. I haven't remade the scenarios, as I can't be sure that will fix it and I don't have the time. I haven't heard back from support for a while as he said he was taking the issue to a meeting this week.
