It appears you might be running into an LMS-specific issue. To verify if this is the case, I recommend doing the following:
- Publish and test your course in Review 360
- Test your course in a different LMS like SCORM Cloud to see if repeating the same steps results in the course freezing
If you can replicate the behavior in SCORM Cloud or Review 360, please share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening. If your course works in SCORM Cloud, contact the support team of Canvas so they can check what's causing your course to freeze in their environment.
