closed captions not appearing
Welcome, Tess!
Ah, that’s no good–I'd love to help! I went through the steps you took on the latest version of Storyline 360 where I was able to see the Closed Captions during Preview–here's a quick Peek of my testing.
Can you help me with a few more questions?
- What version of Storyline are you using? Click on the Help tab > About Storyline to find this detail.
- Do the Closed Captions disappear when the video is paused, or they do not appear when clicking on the Closed Captioning Button?

Thanks Katie.
First time using captions and didn't realise users had to click the cc button for them to appear!!
Is there a way for them the load automatically?
Using version 360.
If not all good - they work using the cc button :)
Cheers

Hi Tess
you can set a trigger to show the CC as soon as the timeline starts on the slide.

Thanks, Wendy. This trigger works beautifully and it makes more sense for the captions to display automatically when the slide plays than having the learner click the cc button.
