Content Library License to use anywhere?
We recently made a web course with Storyline 360 and used a lot of the materials from the content library inside SL360. Different department is asking access to these pictures to be used within company website/other departments as well.
Does the royalty-free extend beyond the scope of just materials made with SL360 and am I allowed to share these pictures or combination of pictures with the different department?

Hi, Jane.
You can take a look at our Terms of Service here:
- Articulate 360 General Terms of Service (scroll down to 2.11 for specifics on the use of the Content Library)
You may use the Content Files to develop your e-learning end product in our Services (“End Product”), including modifying and embedding the Content Files into your End Product, and reproducing and distributing the Content Files if integrated in your End Product.
If you are using the images in your end product (the e-learning/training material) or to promote that end product, you should be fine, but you cannot add them standalone into other applications.
If you need more clarification, please reach out through a case.

Thanks, I have submitted a case as I don't find it clear as to what the 'End product' can be.

I see that items in Content Library 360 are royalty-free, but are they licensed? For example, there are icons that resemble Yoda and Indiana Jones that may prove problematic if/when used if they are not licensed correctly.

Hi, Joseph.
Thank you for your question!
If those images are found in Articulate 360's content library, then you are free to use them within your e-learning end product.
- Articulate 360 General Terms of Service (I'd look at 2.11 and 8.2 for specific information)
