Controlling the Seekbar

I wondered if there is a way to control the seek bar with triggers.

I created a story that allows access to the seek bar after the student completes the page, but when they return to the page, they lose the privilege.

  • Hello JoeSchelb ,

    Happy to help!
There isn't a way to directly control the seekbar, but you can use triggers to jump your learners to specific sections in the timeline.

It sounds like you're using the conditional seekbar to restrict the navigation. Have you tried changing your slide's revisit behavior to "Resume saved state" to see if this helps?

If adjusting this setting still doesn't allow your learners to access the seekbar on a revisit, would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can check what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done!

I will have to look at the file to see if "Resumed saved state" was turned on. If not, that will work, and I will have to add some triggers to jump to the beginning of the timeline after you have gone past the page.
