Convert ALL slide notes to text-to-speech?
Storyline offers the capability to convert slide notes to text-to-speech audio. Is it possible to do it to all the slides at once?
Converting all slide notes to text-to-speech. That’s an interesting idea! I think it depends on what you're aiming for. Text-to-speech can be super handy for accessibility or if you're in a pinch and need to listen on the go. But sometimes it might miss the mark with pronunciation or tone. It’s like using https://notesonline.com/notepad ; it's cool for quick notes but might not replace all your tools. I’d say try it out on a few slides first and see how it feels. What works best for you might not be the same for everyone else!
Yes, it seems they don't care. Maybe we should buy anoher software from a competitor that tries to keep up to date.
Just imported a 186-slide presentation into Articulate. Got my fuzzy robe and coffee, settling in for a few hours to click "Copy from Slide Notes" 186 times :)
Yep. I reserve that chore for Sunday afternoons on the sofa with a laptop and my doodle. Hours and hours and hours ... 🙄
It seems Articulate does not show real interest to improve this like competitors do.
It would be great if there was an option to add text-to-speech to all slides from slide notes all at once, as having to add it to each slide, one by one for very long projects is very time-consuming. Plus, it does not automatically update the speech if the text on a slide note is changed. I seem to have to remove the original text-to-speech, then re-add the new text which is so long-winded. Could this be improved?

There is currently no available feature that can translate all slide notes to text-to-speech audio at once, but I agree that having a feature would come in handy especially when working on a project that has a lot of slides. I'd recommend raising this as a feature request to let our product team know that this is a feature that you are interested in seeing in future releases of Storyline 360.
