I am working on project in storyline 360 that has pink colored shapes in one of my slides. I want to copy and past these pink shapes into a new slide, however, when I go to paste it in a new slide the shapes change green. Is there a way that I can copy and paste these shapes so they stay pink when I paste?

Without seeing it I assume the pink is the same accent color as the green. My guess is that the pink slides have an assigned accent color from the color theme. When you paste it into a slide with a different color theme, it will pick up that theme color.
You could change the green in the color scheme to pink, assuming that doesn't mess up the other objects that may be using green
Far more reliable than copy and paste is to duplicate the slide. If necessary, delete unwanted elements. Duplicating the slide makes an exact copy of everything.
