copying states
Hello,
I was wondering if it is possible to copy states from one shape to another. We use storyline for technical introduction training of complex machines and I would like to use the picture of a component as a button. But I do not want to recreate the states of the button every time. Is there a way to copy the states from oen image to another?

If you've got one custom button created with the states you want, you could just copy the entire button, and then edit the triggers as needed.
You can also use the Format Painter to transfer states from one object to another. If the states include photos, be sure the objects have the same aspect ratio to avoid distortion.
The format is what i was looking for.
