CORRUPT FILE CANNOT OPEN PROJECT
I have been working on a big project now TWICE and I was just about finished today for the SECOND TIME and when I went to save the project it said it could not save. I then exited out and went back in and got this corrupt message. So I had our IT team go back and pulled my back up file from yesterday and again it said the same message. I then uninstalled and reinstalled 360 and again same message.
This is beyond frustrating for a product that I am paying so much money for. Can anyone offer me any help?
Hi StevenVoorhees!
So sorry to hear you've been affected by file corruption while authoring in Storyline! I understand how frustrating that can be!
Thanks for sharing the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. I noticed you've also opened a support case that my teammate Chester just received. You're in excellent hands working with him and he should be reaching out to you via e-mail, shortly.
In the meantime, you’ll want to ensure you're working off your local drive. Working on a network drive or external drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources. Also, this article outlines the common causes and solutions to file corruption.

Hello, I am having the same issue. How can I get a support case opened?

I seem to be getting this randomly the last few days. It takes 2 or 3 attempts to open a file now. I'll get the corrupt message 2 or 3 times, then the next attempt it will open. I always work with my files from a local drive and my Storyline is up to date (just re-installed it).
It doesn't seem like the file is corrupt since it will eventually open
Hi Brian-Steers,
I've gone ahead and opened a support case on your behalf! I have sent an email so that we can continue the conversation over in the case.
Have a great afternoon, and talk soon!
