Course marking complete in LMS when completion trigger not reached
I'm having an issue with a course. I have checked all the completion settings and they appear to be correct:
Storyline
- Tacking - Complete course trigger and is set to Using Triggers (eg complete course)
- The complete course trigger is on a button after successfully passing the assessment (but before the end of the course).
The LMS marks the course complete pretty much after launching it.
LMS settings:
Add to history on completion of all content (when launched is not selected)
Completion status: eLearning - Succ
Is this an issue with the new version? I did test it with an older version of the course:
I upload the 'older' published scorm file, it worked correctly
I re-published the old version and this scorm file completes too early.
It does seem like an issue with the Scorm file published - please help!!

Without any useful replies to the above 2 queries, I am left without help.
Can you share what was done to resolve the above two issues?Hi, I don't see here how they fixed this. Is there a solution with the configuration of the course, or is a bug only fixed by IT?
Hello AngelaMorales-f! I'm happy to help! I see this discussion is specific to courses using the Classic player that are not being marked complete in an LMS. Do you have a course that you're working on using the Classic player, too?
If you're using the Modern player and finding the course isn't marked complete in your LMS, we'd want to know more about your setup. For example, which LMS are you using, and which SCORM version are you choosing when publishing? When a course isn't working as expected in an LMS, we usually recommend testing the course in another LMS environment like SCORM cloud to determine if the issue is stemming from the course or LMS environment.
