Course on a smartphone : Opening a link in a new tab but without redirecting the learner to it

I'm developing a course which is going to be play on smartphones only. When we click on a link, we are redirected to a new tab, which causes us to leave the e-learning module page. I am concerned that the learner may not return to the e-learning page to finish it. Would it be possible that, when clicking on the link, it opens a new tab but without redirecting to it, so that the learner stays on the e-learning module page ?

Thanks for reaching out!

Your LMS controls the behavior you described and not by a setting when the course was published. In SCORM Cloud, for example, you can set the launch behavior and how new windows are opened.

Please check with your LMS administrator to see if they can adjust the behavior of newly opened links to match your design requirements.

Your LMS controls the behavior you described and not by a setting when the course was published. In SCORM Cloud, for example, you can set the launch behavior and how new windows are opened.

Please check with your LMS administrator to see if they can adjust the behavior of newly opened links to match your design requirements.
