Course Tracking Reach 360
We wanted user feedback on reach mainly with regards to whether they liked the course and comments on improvements. I have figured out this portion on how to acquire feedback through survey questions and the results slide. But, I want to also track their progress like how far they have made it in the course.
I looked up some articles saying it is not possible to visualize the progress bar on reach when using publishing from storyline. Please let me know if there is a workaround for this. I want to see the users progress but it is always blank as shown below
Hello AAALAM3,
There isn't a workaround for this limitation right now. There is no way to display course progress in Reach 360 for Storyline 360 authored content.

You can check out Storyline 360's built-in variables, particularly the "Project.Progress" variable, to display course progress within the course, but there's no way to report this data to Reach 360 or other LMSs.

Hi JoseTansengco,
Thanks for your reply. I had another question regarding the lessons parameter as well. Whether this could be used as an alternative?
What is the Lessons field based on? Every time a storyline course is completed or viewed it always shows 1 lesson viewed. I am assuming the whole storyline course is treated as one lesson correct?

Hi AAALAM3!
Glad to see Joe has been helping you!
That's correct. When looking at the Analyze tab, the 'Lessons' column indeed treats an entire course as a single lesson. This means that regardless of how many slides or interactions are within the course, it will be counted as one lesson when viewed or completed.
For now, the steps Joe shared, using the Storyline variable Project.Progress, is the best workaround we suggest for implementing a progress bar.
Please let me know if you have any more questions!
