Courses with multiple final assessments
You could use variables and conditional triggers to steer the user back and forth between quizzes.
The Review Quiz button on a Results slide has a trigger to jump to the first question slide that is included in that quiz. And it automatically shows the appropriate Review info for all the question slides included in the results.
To allow the user to retry a quiz, there needs to be a Resets Results trigger for that quiz. That trigger is automatically applied when you add a Retry Quiz button to a Results slide. You could insert the same trigger elsewhere.
However, using 2 separate quizzes is not a good idea if you want to track completion with one of those quizzes.
- Yes, you can designate more than one quiz for tracking completion.
- However, Storyline will report the results from the first designated quiz that the user takes. (Refer to https://articulate.com/support/article/Storyline-360-More-Quizzing-and-Tracking-Options#multiple-completion-criteria.)
-
- That means that if the user fails the first quiz, and passes the second quiz, Storyline will submit the results of the failed quiz.
Thus, I suggest you just let the user repeat the same quiz. Put the questions in a Question Bank if you want them to appear in random order.
