Cursor Line in Text Input Box
I've looked all through previous posts to find the answer to this, but I'm just at a loss.
I have a course with a button that presents a layer with text input boxes for name and company name in order to generate a certificate. When originally presented with the layer, there are no cursor lines when clicking in the boxes. However, once I generate the certificate and navigate back to the layer again, there are cursor lines! If I just close the box and navigate to the layer without generating a certificate, the lines still do not show. I have tried moving the boxes to the end of the timeline with no luck. I've attached a screenshot of the layer I would like cursor lines to appear the first time when visited. I'm trying to figure out why they would appear after navigating away from the page entirely and how I could incorporate this! Ideas?
Hi April!
Thanks so much for reaching out! This is a known bug where the text entry field does not have the default focus/cursor. We'll be sure to keep you in the loop with any updates!
A workaround you can try in the meantime is to:
Right-click on the text entry in your timeline, then select the Send to Back option.
Attached you'll find a sample .story file so you can preview this on your end!
Here's a quick Peek where I talk through this workaround for you!
Feel free to share your file in this thread so we can take a closer look. I'm curious to hear what others in the community have attempted as a workaround!

Having tried this workaround, although after Send to Back now displays the cursor, there is another problem - whatever the user is typing no longer displays?
Hi MeeraLynn-69f97,
There's a chance that the order of your objects in the timeline might be affecting how the input box displays text. I'll be happy to check your project file to see if this is the case. Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case for testing? We'll delete it when we're done!
