custom buttons in Storyline not working with ipad trackpad
Hi, has anyone come across similar issues? Storyline content using player frame for generic navigation (next/back), but has some custom buttons on screen for certain functions. When viewing on an ipad and using a trackpad on a detachable keyboard the buttons in the player work OK, but the custom buttons on screen aren't being recognised. Almost like the player takes the focus? They can be selected by tapping on the screen, just not the keyboard. Anyone found a solution or is it a bug? Thanks

Hi GilesCulkin-1d3,
Thanks for reaching out!
This sounds like it could be related to a bug our team is tracking where interactive buttons don't work on an iPad when using a magic keyboard with with a touchpad. To help us narrow this down, I have a few follow up questions:
- Is this happening with multiple courses? If you import your slides into a new file, does the issue persist?
- When viewed on a different device, the course play properly?
We'll look out for your reply!

Hi Kelly
Thanks for the reply
We have several modules (each individual SL files and exports) related to the same course content and it's common throughout in testing.
When viewed on a desktop device (or an ipad without using the trackpad) they function as expected.Hi GilesCulkin-1d3,
Thanks for confirming those details!
From what you described, this really sounds like a bug we are tracking where interactive buttons do not respond when using an iPad with a Magic Keyboard with touchpad. To be sure, can you confirm if that is the keyboard you are using?
Once we know that, we can confirm if it matches the issue we are tracking and share the next steps.
