Difference Between "Articulate" and "Community" AI Voices
Hi,
In Generate AI Audio, I noticed that some voices are labeled 'Articulate' and others 'Community'.
Could you please explain the difference between these two voice types? Are there any differences in quality, support, licensing, or recommended usage?
Thank you.

Hello DeryaCorakci,
Great question! The main difference between Articulate Voices and Community voices is how they’re managed and their long-term availability.
Articulate Voices are owned and maintained by Articulate. That means these voices will remain available for future content updates, making them a good choice when voice consistency and long-term availability are important.
Featured Community voices give you access to more than 5,000 voices, with new options added regularly. They’re great when you want a wider variety of voices to choose from, but they don’t have the same availability assurance as Articulate Voices.
You can find more details in our Creating AI-Generated Text-to-Speech Narrations article.
Hope that helps clarify the difference!
