Difference between launcher.html and story.html

I'm curious to know the difference between those two files and their use?

The launcher.html file is what will be used to launch your course from within your LMS if you have chosen the "launch in new window" as a part of the options here.Otherwise, the story.html file is the main launch file for web or LMS.

@ashley, How does the index_lms.html differ from the story.html? My company is using Storyline360 and I am attempting to SCORM Validate a graded exam for use within the ALMS.
I know that the launcher.html file has some play in 508 'standards' too.

The index_lms.html file is a file that is used by an LMS to open a published Storyline 360 course. The story.html file on the other hand is something a webserver would use to launch the course on a browser. If your LMS doesn't require a particular launch file, then you may be able to use the story.html file but I'd verify this with your LMS support team.
