Disappearing Pictures

1) The original Storyline file may be corrupt. It was suggested that a new file be started. I did this by opening Storyline and selecting 'import existing' file. Before I made any changes to my template, I began a new file.
2) My file extension had a trademark logo in it. It was suggested that I remove the trademark logo from the file name.
3) I was told to not enter Storyline by clicking the icon on my desktop or from my computer's menu. Instead, individual Storyline saved files should be accessed through your document or C:drive.
Really sorry to hear about the trouble you've both experienced with this. In addition to the above steps, you'll also want to be sure you're following some basic rules to prevent strange behavior:
- Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
- You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
- Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.
If you experience any trouble going forward, please don't hesitate to give us a shout and we'll be happy to help out
