Displaying Storyline player controls in Rise 360

Two questions:

I've got an interactive video produced in Storyline for use on a Rise 360 course. I want the user to be able to pause/resume the interactive video, so after some reading I've settled on displaying only the SL player - menu and controls (no video controls). However, when I see it in the Rise course I'm building, said video doesn't display any controls.

A second issue is, I've added triggers so user can click on video to pause/resume timeline and keep everything in synch, but when in Rise, clicking on the video appears to only start the timeline, not the video. I have to click at least twice on the video to kick start it, but this this time, the video and timeline is out of synch. Once the video starts, the pause/resume function works properly, even if things are out of synch.

Could you pls help me sort this out?

Thanks for your assistance :)

  • Hi MarcosPougy,

    Happy to help!

We'll need to test your Storyline 360 project file and how it behaves when embedded in a Rise 360 course. Would you be willing to share a copy of your Storyline 360 project file here or privately by opening a support case for testing? We'll delete it when we're done!
