Do these settings options exist?
Hi Christina,
Button stacks open links in a new tab by default. If you use the Inspect tool of your browser to check on the button block, it already has the attribute target="_blank."
This instructs the browser to pull up a new tab when clicking on the link (as shown below):
If this is only happening to some of your students, they may need to check their browsers for extensions that may be forcing this behavior of opening in the same tab. They may also need to check with their IT team if somehow they may be enforcing a network policy to force links to open in the same tab.
Regarding your second question, we don't have a way to delay the Next button from appearing before it can move on to the next question. We can leave it up to the community for suggestions on how to make sure your students will read the feedback.
