Double Dipping for use in both ILT AND eLearning

Has anyone experimented with developing one set of training; use it for ILT, then for elearning, have a menu'd set of controls and interfaces appear?  Maybe the instructor has a code to hide controls that are normally on by default?  I'm trying to have ONE final product that can be used for both.

What you are looking for is standards based developing based on  IETP, or interactive electronic technical publication,  technology. Not easy but extremely powerful when executed correctly.

    Have a look here https://www.cortona3d.com/en

one of many vendors that use the foundation of industry standards to create not double dipp but many dipp :)

  • Hello Rob and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! 🎉 Great question! That can be a tricky one because an ILT presentation with a facilitator usually needs to be reworded and re-designed to resonate in a self-paced course. Though, I have seen people successfully use Rise 360 as a presentation and leave behind course. Elizabeth Pawlicki just wrote a blog post on that very topic. It includes some really great ideas. You can read all about it here.
