Dynamic/branched TOC?

Is it possible to create a course where the content is branched/parsed to three audiences in a way that when a user identifies as 1 of the 3 audiences, the TOC knows to show only content intended for that user type?

Possibly could host multiple courses on the LMS to the same affect, and/or am open to suggestions if this isn't plausible.

    You could do that with variables. You'd have to create your own table of contents and not rely on the built-in menu structure.
