Edited Courses Reverting to Old Versions

Hello.  My team and I are re-designing a curriculum that consists of several e-modules created in Rise360.  Two of the courses that were re-designed have reverted back to the old versions after the new edits were made.  We have not changed themes; any idea why this would happen or how to access the new versions that were completed?  A lot of work went into creating these modules and would love to know if there is any way to recover them.

  • Where are you seeing these old versions?

    While editing, make sure you're not looking at an old snapshot of the course. The list of snapshots is in the top left of the screen.

    While in Review360, the top left of the screen also has a list of versions of previous review uploads.

  • They are in our content list, like they never left or were changed.  There are no snapshots of any of these courses and nothing in Review360.  I am lost on how this happened.

    Thank you for the response.  We edit our courses in Rise 360 and this is where the updated courses appeared to be unchanged (this happened to two courses we were working on).  The courses had not been republished into our LMS as of yet.  It seems as though they saved for a few days, but when we were ready to review and republish, we noticed the changes had not been saved.

      Hello KelliLynnCatala,
      Do your courses have multiple versions or duplicates? It's strange that an existing course that was previously published does not have snapshots or Review 360 items, especially if you recall previously publishing the course to Review 360. This makes me think that you or your team might be accessing a copy of the course and not the original one. 

      Can you still replicate the issue? If you make edits to your Rise 360 course, does the course eventually revert to an older version? If you didn't duplicate the course, please open a case with our support team here so we can request a copy of your Rise 360 course to understand what happened.
