Embedding "functional" web objects into Storyline project

Hello!
My question for today is - when embedding a web object into a storyline project how can I make the web object "functional"?  My use-case here is, that I am developing a new certificate course and I want to embed an app that the learner will need to use as they go through the course to find answers, etc.  I can add in the web object and it pops up nicely on the page, but it doesn't appear to be functional, other than I can scroll up/down the page.

Is what I am asking even an option?
