Embedding MS Forms in Rise - how to force submission of the Form before continuing?
My company's LMS offers very limited tracking information, so for a few recent projects where the clients have wanted to be able to track learners' responses (either to quiz questions or feedback questions about the quality of the course and content), I have resorted to using MS Forms owned by the client, so they can view responses that way. Initially, I was making a Storyline block with a web-object and then inserting that block into the course in Rise. When testing this, I realised that the block was "completed" as soon as the web-object loads, so there's not a lot I can do in order to lock the Continue bar and make sure users complete the Form. The workaround I came up with was to add a button at the bottom of the SL slide that was timed to appear after about 60 seconds, so that users at least felt that they should start filling in the form while they couldn't do anything else, and then a trigger on this button to mark SL scene as complete after it had been clicked.
However, I was excited to learn on this thread that I no longer need to use Storyline for this as I can add Forms using the Embed feature directly into Rise. However, this brings me back to the original problem, that I can't lock the Continue button under the embedded Form, as it becomes active as soon as the Form has loaded. Is there anything else I can do to, if not force, then at least strongly encourage users to submit the Form before clicking Continue in the course?

With the embed block, there's not a way to require that they do the embedded item, but one thing that might work well is to create something like an attestation where they attest to completing the form. You could use the list --> checkbox list, with a single item, followed by a locked continue button to accomplish this. The continue button will require that they check the box.
Technically you're only requiring them to check the box, but it is a strong encouragement. :)
