Embedding Software in iFrames
Hello all,
I have had a request, I don't think its possible but worth a go.
Requirement: I need users to log into Tableau and perform some exercises on a couple of reports to find the correct answer, I want to see if I can use an iFrame to allows users to log into Tableau through the frame automatically.
In the interim, I have created a version of this report in Storyline with multiple drop downs and layers, it works fine but we are interested in iFrames.

It should login if you use SSO or will display a login screen
Yes, we have SSO, that's why i thought it would work, but i got the error message in the reply by Jurgen below.
I am toying with the idea of creating training logins, generic username and password, and trying to pass the values through the iFrame using JScript.
just tested - if I embed www.tableau.com in an iframe, the website refused to be loaded (this is normal for the most websites)
Most will work some will not allow themselves to run in frames.
You can open the console and see what error you get

Yes, exactly what I am getting, I am convinced there must be some way to do it, I like a good challenge.
every webpage with user login has a very serious security problem, if it does not prevent the integration in an iFrame
That sounds reasonable...
