You may have an older version of Engage installed, which is why it opens as a stand-alone, but you need the 360 version. It's also possible that you need to update Engage 360.
Can you double-check whether you need to install or update Studio 360, which includes Engage 360? If so, you'll see the Update All button or an Install button beside the Studio 360 app. Clicking these should resolve the issue.
