Error - numbered paragraphs

I have not seen this issue myself but I suspect it's just another effect of the "Word is the all powerful documentation tool" approach. When I have had other docs exported as Word files and then need to reimport them elsewhere, other artifacts like this have appeared. What I generally do is to copy the content, paste it into a text editor such as Notepad++, then copy it back into Word (or the target application). Passing the content through a text editor removes all the extraneous (auto)formatting that seems to be layered into any Word document.
