Error when opening Storyline 360 file
I have noticed a dramatic increase in error messages when opening Storyline 360 files lately and not only from those on the server. I more often than not get a message that says "The file "XXXX" is being used by another process or you do not have the proper security permission to access this resource. Make a copy of your project file, then try to open the new file."

Hi Leanne,
This message usually appears if multiple users are trying to access the same Storyline project file. If you are working with files from a shared network drive, this can lead to unexpected/erratic behavior. I would recommend working on a local hard drive to avoid any unexpected behavior.

That would make sense if it only happened for those files that are on a shared network drive and are being accessed by more than one person. However it is happening for those on the shared drive and those on my local C drive. Also no one else is using my files as we each work on our own projects.
I am now getting this error almost 80% of the time when i try access a file and I cant figure out why. I see that Matthew has been having the same issue. Really this has only been happening in the last 2 to 3 months. Could any of the updates that have been pushed be causing this?
