Exporting Storyline blocks into Review Causing Unwanted Changes

I've been working with a SME who creates all of his content in Storyline as videos, and we're in the process of moving them into Rise. When I cut and paste segments of his original Storyline into a new one and publish them into review so they can be added as a Storyline Block in Rise, some of the elements in the video no longer line up.

For example, he has a segment with a chart and has arrows that appear later in the video that are in the right place when previewed in Storyline, but when published in Review, the arrows are off and no longer aligned with the chart.

Is this a know issue, and is there anything I can do to correct this error?

Thanks for your help.

  • Hi Michael, and welcome to the E-Learning Heroes Community! So glad you're here! 🥳

Thanks for reaching out! I understand how frustrating that can be to not see the SME content display correctly within your Storyline Block in Rise.

Instead of copying and pasting your content, I'd like to recommend importing your SME's Storyline content into your current course. Here's a great article that walks through how to import these slides. It will ensure that everything is transferring over to your current Storyline file correctly.

If, after trying that, you're still having an issue with your files, feel free to share them in this thread or privately in a support case. We can take a closer look and see if we can replicate this on our end!

Looking forward to hearing from you!
