Exporting User Details that are input onto a slide to a excel speadsheet?

A colleague of mine has been tasked with developing a display to be used at an exhibition. As part of this, I have been asked to develop a computer based package, based on Storyline 360, that would, as part of the process, allow the user to input their contact details, so that the company involved can then later contact those people who submitted their contact information.

What I need to work out is whether there is a way of getting the user's information, once it has been entered into the Storyline slide, exported out to an Excel spreadsheet, or whether there is some other alternative that could be suggested in order to try and collate all the contact information for all the individuals that submit their details.

If this requires the use of external coding, so be it, and would be happy for anyone to suggest how this might be achieved.

  • You could use power automate to achieve this along with some javascript there are tutorials around for that.

  • The easiest solution may be to use a Web Object that contains a Google Form or something similar.  Google Forms auto-populate Google Sheets. too.
