Feedback By Choice not showing
kristinaArg : The Try Again layer in the file you attached has 4 custom states: one for each of the characters in the responses. But you can't show 2 states at the same time.
You have to consider what feedback you want to show for any combination of responses that the user could select. Even though it is a multiple response, they could select just 1 that's right, or 1 that's wrong. Or they might select any 2 or any 3 buttons. Or all 4.
Thus, you need to start by figuring out what feedback to show in what circumstances (that is, based on which buttons are Selected and not Selected). Yes, that might be different feedback for every possible combination. Then set up triggers accordingly.
And, yes, that's complicated (which is probably why Articulate doesn't offer feedback-by-choices for multiple-response questions).
So you might want to consider providing the same Try Again feedback/hint no matter how they answer. Or don't give them hints at all on the Try Again layer. Just provide more explicit feedback about each response on the Incorrect layer. That could also be provided on the Correct layer.

This makes total sense! I guess we'll just have to redesign our knowledge check to make it work without the complexity of building. Thanks for your help!
