Feedback Master Button Disappears
Hello!
I'm new and trying to create a custom feedback master. Well, I did create one, it just doesn't behave as I expected. Screen shot will be included. I hope I've selected them in order.
A continue button is present on the Feedback Master. The button shows up in the slide view on the correct layer.
When I preview, the button does not appear.
I hope to work this out before I go any further on these customized feedback layers.
Thanks!

Hi Clare,
Thanks for reaching out!
Based on the screenshots that you shared, it looks like the button was correctly added to be visible in the course. Have you checked the default state of the button in your course to see if it is currently set to a state that is not Hidden?
If the button itself is not using the Hidden state, would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing!

Was a solution ever found for this? I'm encountering it as well, and I've ensured the button is not hidden nor is there a solid background covering anything up.
Hello Mike,
Happy to help!
If you'd be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case, we'll be glad to check why your Feedback Master button is not displaying properly on your slides. We'll delete it when we're done testing!

Was this bug ever looked at as I have had this problem on a number of occasions. Even tried deleting the Feedback master and re-importing from a Content Library template layout (sometimes worked, sometimes didn't). It appears (to me) to be an intermittent problem with recognising the object on the layer as it appears in BOTH Feedback Master AND in BOTH the Layer view and the Slide View in the actual authoring screen, so Storyline knows its there, just will not render it in Preview. I have tried pasting the Button from the good 'Correct' layer which also shows up in Layers and Slide views but then does not show in Preview when testing.
Hi Danny!
Sorry to hear you've run into this setback!
I see that you've opened a support case that's being handled by my teammate, Jan Lua. It looks like Jan Lua replied to your e-mail sharing feedback and steps you can take to solve this issue.
We can continue the conversation through your case to keep all information in one spot.

I had the same issue! I was able to get mine to work by:
1. Deleting the text and button from the slide where the button wouldn't show.
2. Copied text and button from a slide where the button worked.
3. Pasted it on the slide where the button wouldn't show.
It worked in Preview mode. Hopefully this will work for you also. (It's a workaround until this gets fixed.)

This has been an issue for me also. Thanks for the workaround, Tammy!

I too am having the same issue. I have multiple slides that have the button, so going to through each slide is extremely time consuming.
Hello MarcelaGarre697!
Thanks for reaching out! I understand that you are having trouble with your Custom Feedback Master in Storyline 360.
- Is this happening in Preview or also in a published output?
- Are you experiencing this with any other courses you're working on, or just this one?
We'd be happy to take a closer look at your .story file in a support case so we can continue troubleshooting.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
