File Types

I see that Rise has a maximum side of 5GB for audio and video files. I also see videos are best in 16:9 aspect ratio. I'm seeking information in a couple areas: 1. Please list all of the file type...

Hi Julie!  Sounds like you've been brushing up on our best practices for using media in Rise.  

  1. We don't limit you to a list of supported file types in Rise.  We expect virtually every format of those media types to be supported.  If you run into an issue with a particular file, let us know, and we'll give you some help.
  2. Most, but not all lessons or block types will support adding images.  You'll see this option when you can add media to a section of your lesson:

Is there a specific block type or lesson that you have in mind where you'd like to add your image?  Maybe we can brainstorm about some best options for your course!
