Fraud e-learning

Hi all, I am just starting to use rise 360 to build a fraud e-learning and was hoping for some ideas about making recognising and prevent fraud more interactive and engaging. I have only used rise 360 once before and this was editing a template. so any tips or templates would be apricated.

    Hi Liz,

As you are using Rise, one thing you might like to consider is using Scenario blocks as part of your course. For example, you, as the user, could act as the manager and have a member of staff report an incident to you. You have to make sure you pick the right questions to gain the correct information and then, at the end of the scenario, you have to make a decision as to whether or not it is a case of fraudulent activity. You could also have follow-up questions where you have to determine who was responsible for the fraud and also what specific type of fraud was involved.

As you are new to Rise 360, you may find the following useful:

In addition, this excellent example below from Allison LaMotte includes a number of different Rise interactions that you may find useful plus a Scenario block, which can be found by going to the "What is a Food Allergy" lesson, scrolling to the bottom, selecting the "Got It" button and pressing the "Continue" button:

    Hope this helps.

  • Hi Liz,

Ned is spot on with his advice!

I'd also recommend taking a look at the Phishing 101 course template in Rise 360. There's some great inspiration in that template showing how to use the interactive blocks—for example, using the labeled graphic to highlight red flags in fraudulent emails!

    Hope that helps!
