Free rolling dice interaction
Hi everyone,
At the moment I'm busy with the production of an interactive board-game. One of the main elements for this game is a rolling dice interaction. After developing this interaction, I thought these rolling dices might be helpful to other Storyline users.
You can see the interaction via this link;
and download the story file here;

I hope that this is helpful to you.
Cheers!
Update!!!!
You can also use this interaction as a kind of rollingQuestion Game. Below are the links. Enjoy ;)
Here you can see it in action;

Hi, I am new to this community, and new to this whole sector. I have downloaded your cool tool, but am unable to open it as I get a message saying I need to open it with an app. Can you help me understand which app I am supposed to be using, please?
Thanks in advance

Hi Laura,
Which version of Storyline do you use? The interaction was build with Storyline 360.
Are you using this version or Storyline 2?Thanks,
Paul

Thanks for your reply Paul. I am so green with all things Articulate, that I didn't even know I needed to have Storyline :-). Fortunately, I have now downloaded it and can open your tool. My aim here is to get a general understanding so bit by bit I’m learning 😊. Thanks again.
Cheers

I was just coming to ask for help on a dice rolling game I was trying to create! Talk about luck! My only issue with these interactions is that I don't want numbers that have previously been rolled to be used again. In my interaction, I have 6 questions and the user must roll a number to get the question but it took one tester 19 rolls to get the last question and I want to prevent that, as it gets very frustrating to keep rolling to no avail. Is that at all possible? Any help you can provide or even an alternative option would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Staphanie,
Thanks for reaching out. When you have just six questions I would recommend to use only one dice instead of two. In that case the learner has only six possibilities to roll.
To prevent the learner to roll the same number again I would suggest to add the dice interaction on separate layers ;)
Please let me know if this will help you out.
Thanks,
Paul

Thank you so much, that's so kind of you! So if I were to use layers would each question be a layer or each roll? I can't seem to wrap my head around how to make it work. <insert facepalm emoji here> Thanks again for your help! I really appreciate it!

Here's a version with just one dice (6 landing pages), and each result only appears once.
