Free trial version limitations?

What happens to courses created with the free trial version of Rise? Is it possible to download and save them, or are they forever lost?

I tried to download a course as a web page, but when I open the index.html-link I get sent to the course in it's editing mode.

  • Hi there, I'm really struggling with exporting a course as Web output using a trial version of Rise. Can it be done?  I don't seem to have an Export button in the top right corner. I'd really appreciate your help.

    Thanks and regards,

    Fiona

Hi Fiona! Please see my reply to the same query you posted here.

  • Hi Revathi! Can you share more details on the issue you encountered with the view, try and test mode? It will be a big help if you can include a screen recording or screenshot of the issue.

      Hi,

I have tried View, Try and Test mode using Screen Record. Once the record
is done, selected the option slide by slide for Try mode.

Instead of number of slides for each click, i got a single static screen
      with no pop up.

Tried the same for number of times.
Please do the needful to overcome this.

      Thanks in advance,
      Sahana Kumar

Hi Sahana! So sorry to hear you are having trouble with Storyline  360's View, Try, and Test mode. I can see that my teammate Rona has replied to you via email for case 03088476. Please feel free to reply back to her so she can assist you further.
  • Can Rise courses created on a trial account be migrated somehow to an existing full account? I have a colleague that wants to try out making a course. If she doesn't enjoy her experience, I'd like to be able to grab her work with my account and finish off the course for publication under my account. Is that possible?

      Hi Laura,

Your colleague should be able to email you a copy of their course to your Rise account.

      Hi Laura!

I understand that you have a full Articulate 360 subscription and you want to continue working on a course made by your colleague in a trial account.

Before the trial expires, your colleague can send a copy of the Rise course to you. You can send a copy to the email address that is associated with your subscription. Take a look at the steps here.

      Hope this helps you!
